This Benefice is situated in a lively small town within the Deanery of Eastbourne, near the South Downs National Park, with excellent road and rail links. The Bishop of Chichester seeks to appoint a Vicar who will offer a dynamic evangelistic and pastoral ministry in this parish with potential for growth.

We are praying for an evangelical priest who will:

Be a prayerful expository preacher of God’s Word
Help us to love one another as a church family
Nurture individual and collective growth as disciples of Jesus Christ, including children and families
Share the gospel and lead the two churches (St John’s and St Wilfrid’s) in making a difference to our local community
