Are you the one?

Are you the one who God is calling to lead St Matthew’s, a lively charismatic evangelical church in the heart of the Black Country, with a vision to share the love of Christ, make disciples, and serve the community in this large, urban, multi-cultural parish? This is an exciting new season for St Matthew’s in which there has been significant recent growth and renewal after a period of change and loss.

We are looking for a Vicar who:

• Is a prayerful, passionate, missional leader, up for a challenge.

• Is committed to preaching and living the truth of God’s Word.

• Will foster passionate, Spirit-led worship for all-ages.

• Will help us to discern and shape a vision for sustained growth.

• Will build authentic relationships within a caring church family.

• Is committed to recognising and releasing the gifts of all God’s people.

• Will be a visible and approachable presence within the parish.

• Is enthusiastic about engaging with schools and reaching the young.

• Is a shepherd with a pastoral and servant heart.

For our part we look forward to giving our new Vicar a warm black country welcome and to working with them to grow God’s Kingdom and to face the challenges ahead. Tipton is a great place to live and minister!
