An exciting opportunity for a vicar who will cherish and nurture a diverse range of styles of worship including traditional, informal, Café Church and Messy Church. We have a beautiful church building, fully equipped with AV facilities, and a stunning halls complex which provides a lively hub for the local community. We have a parish which provides outstanding opportunities for church growth, and we are looking for someone with the energy, wisdom and persistence to make it happen.

 

We offer a modern 4 bed detached house with a large garden on the borders of the Hertfordshire countryside yet within a 15-minute train journey to London. Potter Bar is also blessed with a selection of excellent primary and secondary schools.

We are praying for a vicar who:

  • Can inspire and equip the church to proclaim the unchanging gospel in new and relevant ways to a changing world.

  • Will recognise and nurture the diversity in styles of worship.

  • Will be a sincere, caring and empathetic pastor.

  • Will engage with the diocesan vision, ‘Living God’s Love’

  • Has a good sense of humour!
