Job Description

The Bishop of Kensington and the Church Pastoral Aid Society wish to appoint a


Vicar to the Parish of ChristChurch, Fulham


– A church in South West London with people of all ages and backgrounds who emphasise the activity of the Spirit and love the Word of God.


We are looking to appoint a man or woman with a deep life of prayer, spiritual wisdom, a desire to follow the call of God in their leadership of ChristChurch, and who is also able to demonstrate:


  • Strong leadership skills that are rooted in a deep sense of their own identity in Christ, and a firm understanding of how to shape a healthy church culture.

  • An openness to and ability to lead in the gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit in all aspects of life, including corporately during services.

  • The ability to set a clear vision for mission in the local community and the growth of the church, and to bring that vision to life.

  • A collaborative approach to ministry that empowers others to lead and support church ministries and outreach.

  • The ability to bring the Word of God alive for people of different life stages and backgrounds.
