St John’s is a charismatic evangelical church north of the town centre of Worksop. We are a diverse, united, warm, supportive and welcoming fellowship. We have a heart for our community, including those who are often overlooked and marginalised. A newcomer described us as “a place full of love, laughter, learning and fellowship”. We have welcomed new worshippers and forged new links and partnerships in the community, as part of our recent major restoration work and a very successful heritage project. As we stand on the threshold of a fresh exciting season, we are ready for an incumbent who is a mature Christian, prayerful and attuned to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This person is wise and understanding, a compassionate listener and encourager with a strong pastoral heart.
