Trinity College Cambridge and the Diocese of Ely seek to appoint a VICAR for St Mary & St Michael, Trumpington (Cambridge)
St Mary & St Michael’s is a warm, welcoming and increasingly diverse parish on the southern edge of Cambridge, serving a rapidly growing community with significant numbers of young families, newcomers from around the world, and areas of real social need. We seek a priest of vision, depth and pastoral imagination to lead us into the next stage of our life together.
We are looking for someone who will:
- inspire deep and confident faith through thoughtful preaching and sacramental worship;
- nurture our diversity and empower lay people in ministry and mission;
- further our work with children, families and young people;
- be a visible presence across a large and varied parish;
- work with us to reorder our building;
- think strategically about growth, community engagement and the future of our mission.
We offer a supportive, outward-looking congregation, administrative help, a good modern vicarage, and a parish well-placed for training curates and enabling ordinands. We are committed to clergy wellbeing. We welcome candidates who may not be able to move until summer 2026.
