Two warm and lively churches in urban Sheffield, united by a desire to serve their communities, share the good news of Jesus and build authentic fellowships where all are welcomed, are seeking an Oversight Minister to lead them in the next stage of their journey.
The Benefice of St Timothy’s and The Vine is looking for a priest who can inspire people to live as children of God and to express their faith in everyday life, and who is committed to strengthening church community and developing a culture of discipleship across both congregations. The role calls for a team builder with a vision for growing lay leadership and nurturing the gifts of the whole congregation, and a warm, attentive shepherd who is relationally present in each church.
The successful candidate will value scripture highly and communicate its message clearly and accessibly, be able to hold space for discussion across a range of theological views, and have a strong heart for mission and sharing God’s love with the surrounding communities.
