Holy Trinity is a warm, friendly and community-focussed church in the Anglo-catholic tradition. The church has a prominent, visible presence on a main road close to Sidcup’s town centre with its shops & restaurants, and good transport links to Central London.

We are seeking a prayerful and pastoral parish priest who enjoys building relationships in church and community, and working collaboratively within a team of committed lay people. In particular our new Vicar will be a man or woman who is:

  • a people-person: kind, loving and nurturing, able to relate to all ages and willing to work with our existing church and community groups, including the Church School.
  • respectful of our Anglo-catholic liturgical and musical traditions.
  • someone with a breadth of experience and good communication skills, able to discern people’s gifts and deploy individuals to enable the church to thrive.
  • able to grow our congregation and reach new age-groups, encouraging us to share fellowship and engage with the wider community.
  • able to inspire us with new ideas for activities and fund-raising events.

Full details are in the Parish Profile, which can be downloaded from the ‘Vacancies’ section of the Diocesan website (www.rochester.anglican.org) or by clicking the 'apply for this job' button below. [Applications should also be made using this link]

Any queries, or to arrange an informal discussion with the Archdeacon of Bromley & Bexley about this vacancy, please contact her EA (Fiona Porter) by emailing fiona.porter@rochester.anglican.org

Closing date for applications: Midnight on 25th May 2025

[Interviews will be held on Tuesday, 24th June]

The wider a group’s diversity, the smarter, wiser, and more compassionate and creative its decision making becomes. We are committed to achieving diversity throughout our Diocese by seeking UKME/GMH colleagues and those from a wide range of backgrounds, to help us create a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Closing date: 25 May 2025
