We are excited to invite applications for the position of Vicar at St. Francis at the Engine Room. This is an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, compassionate leader to guide our church into the next chapter of growth and mission.

 

St. Francis at the Engine Room is a vibrant, inclusive community, deeply committed to social justice, outreach, and the love of Christ. As a faith community rooted in the Liberal Anglo-Catholic tradition, we seek to make a real difference in the lives of those around us in the urban heart of our city.

 

We seek a Vicar who will:

  • Lead and develop sacramental and creative worship that speaks to a diverse congregation, making our services accessible, meaningful, and spiritually enriching.
  • Cultivate relationships with local residents, organizations, and faith groups, working to foster community cohesion and create lasting social transformation.
  • Provide support, guidance, and pastoral care to individuals and families, ensuring that St Francis at the Engine Room remains a place of refuge and spiritual growth
  • Develop and implement initiatives the that brings faith into action, particularly around social justice, and youth engagement.

At St. Francis at the Engine Room, you will be part of a vibrant, growing church, committed to engaging with the community and making a real impact. This role offers the opportunity to shape the church’s mission, worship, and outreach, contributing to a significant and meaningful ministry.
