The Bishop of Leicester is seeking to appoint a full-time Vicar to serve the parish of St Luke’s, Stocking Farm and Christ the King, Beaumont Leys
We are a large urban parish in NW Leicester with exciting opportunities for mission. The parish has a diverse population with both social and private housing and significant areas of deprivation. Work has begun on substantial new housing developments spread over the next 15 years.
We are small congregations seeking to continue to grow living God’s love in the world.
We seek a person who:
- has the ability to come alongside people of all backgrounds
- has experience of working in a transient context
- can creatively use both modern and traditional technology to communicate with both church and community
- will inspire and encourage others to develop and use their gifts, deepen their discipleship and confidently share their faith
- would welcome working in partnership with others to introduce a Christian presence into the areas of new housing
