A unique opportunity for two suitably-qualified priests, to help establish a new clergy team in the centre of Llandaff Diocese, serving the expanding residential areas around the attractive, historic town of Llantrisant.
The Vicars will both have Incumbent status, and take primary geographic responsibility for ministry in two western areas of the new Benefice. In addition, they will play a crucial role, with lay and clergy colleagues, in seeking new ways to respond to the needs of rapidly changing communities, on the outskirts of Wales’s capital city.
A single process of shortlisting and interview will hope to appoint two successful candidates.
These are most likely to be people who:
- have proven and relevant experience of parochial ministry
- will be energised by the challenge of helping to establish a new parish ministry team
- are at their best working collaboratively, and will relate well to both clergy and lay colleagues
- have a heart for searching out new ways to express the Christian faith in changing communities
