Team Vicar

St Paul reminds us that we are both fieldworker and field, that we both offer and receive God’s grace (1 Cor 3:9). Holding out that grace to the people of Aston Abbots, Cublington, Stewkley and Wingrave might just be the fresh way that God invites you anew into his grace. With ecumenical youthwork, a ministry of welcome for awestruck pilgrims in our prayer-soaked buildings, a straightforward pattern of services and excellent links with our local CofE schools, there is growing hope that the fields here are rich with gladness.

We are looking for a Team Vicar who:

• shares the Good News in engaging and innovative ways, with all who may come near.
• encourages each church to grow in assurance of faith, through bible teaching and prayer.
• draws energy from taking an active part in engaging with local schools.
• equips us to be faithful custodians of our buildings, liturgy and parish relationships.
• actively wants to build the Kingdom of God through collaborative rural ministry.
• will enjoy and embrace village life and draw the Church into its many splendours.

• genuine enabling for space to enjoy a full personal life amid community responsibilities.
• accountability to ensure your weekly day off, your annual holidays and CMD happen well.
• we will pay ministry expenses in full and facilitate you taking an annual retreat and conference.
• we have at least 7 lay people who have been authorised to preach and lead in their parishes.
