St Werburgh’s Church Burslem, Holy Trinity Sneyd
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of shaping the new Team Ministry along with our Team Rector Designate. All the constituent parishes of the new team ministry have been entrusted to the oversight of the Bishop of Ebbsfleet, under the Bishops Declaration 2014.
Initially the Team Vicar will work in the parish of S. Werburgh, Burslem, and later in the parish of Holy Trinity, Sneyd as well. Subject to a pending pastoral scheme, these two parishes are joining with the parish of S. Saviour, Smallthorne in mid-2018 and are looking to the future to build on the past.
Our parishes will offer a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the Team Vicar and hope that they may continue to be inspired and motivated to work for the kingdom of God as they deepen their relationship with Jesus.
This is an opportunity for bold thinking and long-sighted vision, a place where a young priest will have plenty of scope to grow and be nurtured and one where a wealth of experience is treasured and utilised. Stoke on Trent is changing, our parishes are changing, it is a time of excitement here and we would love for you to consider being a part of that change.
