Bath Abbey PCC seek a musician of the highest calibre and commitment to contribute to the fulfilment of the Abbey’s vision through the activities of the Music Department. They will be an accomplished liturgical musician, an organist and choir trainer, who is willing to offer themselves to enable our outstanding Abbey choirs to flourish, and to develop creative worship that enriches our vision of “living and telling the Good News of Jesus. As a key member of our music department, you will be the principal accompanist for our Abbey choir at all events including services, broadcasts, recordings and concerts. You will also occasionally direct the Abbey choir and be main director of the Melody Makers, the Abbey’s youngest choir (aged 6-11) and the Chamber Choir.
