Job Description

Stewardship and Funding Adviser

 

The Diocese of Leeds wishes to appoint a Stewardship and Funding Adviser to work as part of the Resourcing Parishes Team. S/he will work closely with PCCs to offer guidance and support to help them identify the resources needed to enable their mission.

 

The Adviser will be a skilled professional, able to work independently and as part of a team to support and advise parishes in all aspects of Christian giving and external funding. An excellent communicator, the post holder will lead meetings and deliver training throughout the diocese. The ability to inspire individuals on the principles of Christian giving is essential. This post requires travel throughout the diocese as well as flexibility to work outside office hours.

 

There is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a committed Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

 

Salary: £28,815 - £34,404 plus a non-contributory pension scheme.
