Job Description

Based in Horsham, Christ’s Hospital is a unique co-educational boarding school and charitable Foundation, which provides first class education for up to 900 children from all backgrounds, supported by over 400 members of staff.


Following the announcement by Rev. Stephen Golding of his intention to retire, applications are invited for the post of Senior School Chaplain at Christ’s Hospital starting in September 2019.


As an ordained Anglican priest, the Senior Chaplain is custodian of four and half centuries of religious worship at Christ’s Hospital and enjoys a high profile and considerable respect within the school community. They should be able to articulate the moral and spiritual values which underpin school life and take a lead in ensuring that these values are given notable profile in the lives of the pupils and staff at this school.


Full participation in the broader life of this busy boarding community is essential.
