Salisbury Cathedral is seeking a Cathedral Safeguarding Officer to join our team. This new role is central to strengthening and sustaining a healthy safeguarding culture across our community, offering both a visible presence on site and a clear point of contact for all safeguarding matters. Working closely with the Chapter Clerk (Chief Operating Officer), the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer will help lead, promote, manage and embed best safeguarding practice in line with the Church of England’s safeguarding policy and guidance. We are looking for someone who can be site-based for 14 hours per week, ideally spread across three days.
