Job Description

Helping ministry to flourish in the rural church

The Bishop is seeking to appoint a Rural Discipleship Enabler who is passionate about rural ministry and has a heart to see faith flourishing in villages.

We are looking for someone who will

  • Be rooted in the rural churches in and around Market Bosworth
  • Have an outward look and care across the Diocese
  • Contribute to and build on the Diocesan Rural Commission
  • Engage with rural communities
  • Help people to grow in faith and discipleship

We seek someone who

  • Shares our vision and commitment to our rural communities
  • Has a heart to equip others in this ministry
  • Is grounded in prayer

The successful applicant will be called to work with local people and communities encouraging us as disciples in our mission and ministry to grow and nurture new disciples

This Rural Discipleship Enabler post is open to ordained and non-ordained applicants and the role is split [0.5] Diocesan and [0.5] Benefice.
