Following changes within the Cathedral’s residentiary Chapter, the Acting Bishop of Ely seeks to appoint a Residentiary Canon who will be known as the
Canon Pastor.

You will oversee pastoral care across the Cathedral congregation and community, support ministry with children and families, and work collaboratively to nurture faith and deepen the Cathedral’s communal life.

This role has significant scope for imaginative, outward ‑looking and missional pastoral ministry within a thriving worshipping community.

Applications are particularly welcome from those who will widen the diversity of the resident Chapter.

An Enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.
