St Ternan’s Church Banchory
We are seeking a prayerful and inspirational Rector for St. Ternan’s, Banchory, who will support our vision of maintaining our broad and welcoming approach towards worship, while stimulating and leading further
expansion into the community, and growth of the congregation.
We are a warm, welcoming, diverse congregation, filled with active and committed lay leaders, in a vibrant community set in a small town known as the ‘Gateway to Royal Deeside’.
We are seeking someone who:
- Will want to be a leader of our varied mix of liturgies and forms of services, including the importance of the musical and choral traditions, whilst being willing to explore new patterns of
worship to reach new parts of the community.
- Will be fulfilled by leading and developing the lay worship
leadership, and other aspects of lay ministry.
- Has a strong interest and background in supporting and
encouraging ministry to families and young people, as well as caring for the needs of more mature members.
- Will nurture and develop both the current buoyant spirituality of the congregation, and fresh visions for the future.
