Job Description

The Bishop of Leicester is seeking to appoint a Rector to the Benefice of Anstey and Thurcaston with Cropston.

A well-established partnership we have strong faith foundations and are keen to deepen our benefice co-operative mission and with that of the wider Bradgate Group. Our three varied villages are located close to the north-west of Leicester and have a strong desire to grow alongside the developments and expansion of our communities.

To this end, we seek a person who:
  • Will communicate the good news of Jesus, accessibly to all
  • Will encourage and develop others in their ministry
  • Will help us to grow, leading us well through necessary change
  • Will strengthen our mutual support and cooperation, extending that to our Group partnership and ecumenical links
  • Will encourage and enable us to fully participate in Diocesan life informed by the Diocesan Shaped by God Together approach.
