The Acting Bishop of Durham is looking to appoint a Priest to the parishes of Belmont & Pittington, on the edge of Durham City.

We are looking to appoint an inspiring leader who can help us shape and grow our mission for our two communities. The two churches are less than two miles from the City centre. We are a diverse and supportive benefice with a strong commitment to worship, pastoral care, outreach and spiritual growth. The two churches have worked together successfully for the last 18 years.

Both churches have active lay involvement, well maintained buildings, and a commitment to build for the future. This role offers a unique opportunity to live and serve in a place where faith and community flourish together. We are praying for a priest who can engage with people of all ages and backgrounds with warmth, wisdom and compassion and, can embrace both tradition and innovation in ministry.
