The Anglican Church of St Catherine, Stuttgart, Germany
Needed – A priest to be our chaplain and to build up our church
on a firm foundation!
Over the past 10 years St. Catherine’s Stuttgart has grown into an
international and diverse community. The Bishop seeks to appoint as chaplain a priest who will continue and develop St. Catherine’s
mission of English language worship and outreach in this thriving,
diverse southern German city!
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing person who is
- able to integrate different theological perspectives
- skilled in conducting worship which is engaging and relates to people of all ages and backgrounds
- a team builder keen to work with the enthusiastic
non-stipendiary clerical and lay mission team
- committed to being active and creative in building the chaplaincy and strengthening St. Catherine’s ties with the wider community.
Stipend €24,000 per annum (but with no contributory payments to the Church of England Pension Fund). In return, we look to our new priest to serve actively among us on Sundays plus 3-4 days per week. We will help the priest who is appointed to find an apartment and are willing to help with rent up to a maximum of €12,000 per annum.
