Priest in Charge with Oversight Responsibilities

Dotted on the western banks of the River Fal and its tributaries, the three parishes that comprise the Waterside Benefice are set in the Central South Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Parts also fall within The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site recognising how the industry has shaped today’s context. This rich landscape is popular with visitors and despite the number of second homes, continues to benefit from thriving local communities.

The Benefice vision is ‘To know God better and to reach out and serve our parishes to the best of our ability.’ We seek a leader who will enable us to draw together in love, understanding and Christian fellowship that we might reach out together to our communities

Do you have a heart for mission to lead a team to share God’s love?

Are you a person of peace, able to bring healing, reconciliation, encouragement and nurture communities for growth?

Can you lead by example and be courageous in trying new ways of working to enable churches to flourish in their ministry?
