Priest in Charge

OF DORDON, GRENDON & BADDESLEY ENSOR

Contract:

Permanent

Location:

West Midlands

Recruiter:

Ref: JN008234

Job Description

Rural Opportunities for Innovation & Growth

These three villages in North Warwickshire are a great opportunity for a priest seeking to serve a rural community which has significant post-industrial history and more modern developments.

Whilst Baddesley Ensor and Grendon have been joined for a while, Dordon is a new parish to the group.

The person who will thrive here will:

  • Understand the complexities of a rural context
  • Enjoy the diversity and variety of ministry in and beyond the church
  • Bring parish leadership of vision and energy for each place whilst building unity and commitment across the three
  • Want to reach out to families and people beyond the current church
  • Seek to help existing Christians grow in depth and numbers
  • Lead the new group in unity and outreach and help discern the precise nature of the partnership as it starts

Closing Date: 5 February 2020

Interviews: 4 & 5 March 2020
