Bro Gwendraeth Local Ministry Area comprises churches in the post-industrial towns and villages of the Carmarthenshire Gwendraeth Valley either side of the M4 at Crosshands.

A wise, visionary priest who can be sympathetic to the different styles of worship and local communities that they will serve is required, who will be responsible for the Bro Gwendraeth East Pastoral Area having primary pastoral care for 5 churches: St Lleian’s, Gorslas; St David’s, Saron; St Ann’s, Cross Hands; St Edmund’s, Tycroes and St Edith’s, Llanedi. The LMA would particularly welcome applicants with proven skills or interest in ministry to children, youth and families, working with local schools. The LMA offers a dedicated group of laity who wish to work with their new priest in this mission field.

A modern 4-bedroom vicarage is provided in Gorslas.

The ability to speak Welsh or a commitment to learn is desirable.
