This is an exciting missional opportunity offering a rare combination of urban ministry to a housing estate with high levels of deprivation alongside ministry in two villages in the beautiful High Peak.

We are looking for an experienced and imaginative priest with a pioneering heart who will support the flourishing of the existing ministry teams, deepening their faith and equipping them for service whilst also investing in new missional opportunities to serve the local community, challenge injustice and form new worshipping communities.

Key areas of opportunity include work amongst schools, care homes, over one hundred annual occasional offices and community partnerships centred around the housing estate.

You will find an eclectic and friendly mix of people and supportive PCCs who are looking for someone to nurture and encourage us and build on the work that is already happening with the courage and skill to take us out of our comfort zone and help us engage missionally and relationally with the local housing estate.
