Priest in Charge

St Francis of Assisi Church has stood at the heart of Welwyn Garden City for over 90 years and is highly regarded as a warm, welcoming church with a rich tradition of choral music. Our thriving choir continues to play a vital role in our worship and outreach, regularly travelling outside the parish.

We are looking for a Priest in Charge

• who will lead us in study, worship, and prayer
• who will inspire and challenge us in our faith
• who will nurture the gifts of the whole congregation
• who will bring joy into our worship
• who will embrace variety, while building on tradition.

We long for someone who can help us grow in confidence and in mission - especially among children, young people and families - and who will encourage the planting of fresh, sustainable expressions of ministry in our changing world.
