We are looking for a part-time Priest in Charge, serving for 2 days per week, plus Sunday worship, who is able to lead us forward in our future development and growth as a linked charge of two congregations.
St Columba’s and St Serf’s are situated three miles apart in Aberdour and Burntisland respectively, on the beautiful south coast of Fife, with excellent rail and road links to Edinburgh and the central belt of Scotland.
Both churches have diverse and thriving congregations committed to spiritual growth and outreach to our communities. We would hope that an applicant would have: a track record of successful parish ministry; a commitment to Bible teaching; an ability to mentor and help develop lay gifting; evidence of developing positive ecumenical working; a record of effective mission and outreach to the local community; good verbal and written communication skills.
The post is open to those with Right to Remain and Right to Work in the UK. UK Driving Licence is desirable. Appointment is subject to an application for membership of Scottish PVG (Safeguarding).
