Do you have a heart for showing people where Jesus is working in their community and lives?
Do you work well as part of a team as well as using your gifts to grow new ideas?
Do you have a catholic understanding of the mission and liturgy of the church and have a heart to help lead the church in this way?
Becontree South is a thriving multicultural parish in which the church stands to serve the people with the love of Christ. A parish rooted in a catholic understanding of mission and ministry, each of the churches has its own worship style.
We are passionate about showing people where Jesus is already at work and how they can come to know him too.
There is huge need in the parish with many living in poverty, and this is an exciting time for the church to be seen as a visible presence
supporting those in need.
The Pioneer Priest will use this 5 year project to build a new
missional community in St John’s Church, whilst also working
alongside the ministry team in the wider parish.
As with all Strategic Development Fund posts there will be reviews throughout the 5 years to see if there are longer term possibilities.
This is an exciting ministry opportunity with the flexibility to start something brand new. Could God be calling you to Becontree South?
