A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR A SINGLE CHURCH PRIEST

The Parish of Hedsor is offering a unique opportunity for a part time Interim Associate Priest, initially for a three year period.

The Parish Church of St Nicholas in the south of Bucks is a beautiful twelfth century building, well maintained, in a picturesque setting overlooking the Thames Valley. The location affords easy access to London and Oxford with its proximity to the Elizabeth Line, the M4 and M40.

We seek a priest to engage with our parish community in its many different levels and to lead us in our worship, prayer and discipleship. There is a regular welcoming and committed congregation, large for a rural environment, attending weekly worship. The congregation reaches out to the local community both in its spiritual life as well as in social events. The church is particularly popular for weddings throughout the year.

The position, with responsibility for a single church, offers an opportunity for the Minister to adopt a flexible approach to ministry to suit individual circumstances.
