Are you passionate about mission and growth? Are you a team player and leader who
wants to make a difference? Can you help us engage with our communities? Do you
have a vision for a flourishing church? Are you looking for a challenge? If so, could this be an exciting new stipendiary role for you?
The Oversight Minister of the Flowing Waters Mission Area is an exciting role in a newly established Mission Area of six parishes serving a diverse socioeconomic context. Drawing on Lowest Income Communities Funding, we are delighted to make this new appointment to be based at St Mary’s Stainforth, one of the most deprived parishes in the Diocese, with shared oversight responsibility for Fishlake, Sykehouse, Kirk Bramwith with Fenwick and Moss.
The Successful candidate will work creatively and collegiately with two ordained colleagues in the oversight of the Mission Area to meet new challenges and nurture the whole people of God to help realise our vision to be a flourishing and generous diocese that is Renewed, Released and Rejuvenated.
The Diocese of Sheffield is called to grow a diverse network of Christ-like, lively and sustainable Christian communities in every place, which are effective in making disciples and in seeking to transform our society and God’s world
