The parish stands in the Broad (Central) Anglican tradition.
The principal Sunday service is the 10am Parish Communion
where a small robed choir is in attendance.
Essential: The ability to accompany the choir and congregation with sensitivity. To extemporise in liturgy. A reasonable knowledge of organ repertoire. The ability to work as part of a team.
Duties: Attendance at the choir rehearsal each Sunday at 9.15am, and Parish Communion at 10am. Playing at services on high days and holy days, notably during Christmas and Easter periods.
Optional playing for weddings, funerals etc. (10–15 services a year)
Holy Trinity Church (1855) has a two manual Walker organ. St.Leonard’s Church (1120) Grade I listed church, open during summer. It has a new chamber organ built by Peter Collins.
An annual contract of £4,000 is offered.
