Job Description

St Andrew’s is a church in the catholic tradition of the Church of England and is part of the Uxbridge Team ministry.

We seek an Organist and Director of Music, comfortable with the full spectrum of music from traditional to contemporary, to lead and develop our very keen, all age, robed SATB choir (a weekly choir practice) and our church orchestra (monthly practice). We seek to further develop the good links with St Andrew’s C of E Primary School, next to the church.

There will also be opportunities to work with the musicians at our sister (open evangelical) church, St Margaret’s, Uxbridge, when we have occasional joint services.

The organ is a large 3 manual 1898 Hill, which is regularly maintained.
