The Church of England Guild of Vergers
The Church of England Guild of Vergers is seeking to appoint a
Chaplain to take up appointment preferably in August 2020.
The National Chaplain, who should be a priest in holy orders, will take active life of the Guild, supporting the welfare and pastoral care of Vergers around the country. They will work closely with the Chairman and Central Council of the Guild in providing spiritual direction. They will lead the worship at our annual conference and attend
as many of the national events as necessary.
It is envisaged as a 4 year rolling appointment and would suit
a recently retired and active ordained Priest.
