Minister (Anglican House for Duty)

The Ladygrove Church, Didcot

Location:

London and Home Counties

Recruiter:

Ref: JN012771

The Diocese of Oxford and The Ladygrove Church, Didcot, are seeking a Minister (Anglican House for Duty)

For our established Anglican/Baptist LEP, based in the north side of Didcot, Oxfordshire, following the retirement of our previous Minister.

We are a multi-generational congregation and we would like you to lead and pastor us, while consolidating and establishing new links with the local communities and schools and our developing estates. While we cannot offer you a stipend, at least not at the moment, we can offer you a four-bed house in the heart of a mature estate, within easy reach of town and transport links, and we are surrounded by OFSTED-rated good schools for all age groups.

Sunday duty can be shared with established and experienced lay leaders. Our service styles draw from both traditions, and we’d expect you to be comfortable with the breadth of tradition and practice of each. We know you won’t be full time, and we would be happy to work with you to make the role the best it can be for both of us.

For an informal discussion, please contact the Archdeacon of Dorchester, the Venerable David Tyler, on 07961 726403 or by email at: archdeacon.dorchester@oxford.anglican.org
