This historic three-church parish encompasses much of the busy valley town of Maesteg together with the rural villages of Llangynwyd and Bryn.
This post would be ideal for a person of energy and vision who is enthusiastic about developing the existing strong links between the parish and the community, working with a team of able and committed lay people to further the work of the Church and lead it into an exciting new future.
The new incumbent will share the parish’s desire to show the good news of Jesus Christ in the community, as an active response to God’s love.
It is envisaged that in due course the parish will merge with Garth, on the eastern side of the town, forming a new single benefice. In addition, a new Ministry Area is in the process of being formed which will link the Maesteg benefice with its northern neighbours.
