House for Duty Priest
Wellsprings Benefice, Wiltshire
AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO BE A MEMBER OF A NEWLY FORMED TEAM DEVELOPING THE ‘WELLSPRINGS’ BENEFICE
Are you looking for a rural Ministry where you will be embraced by a friendly and diverse community who need your gifts in ministry, at a time of great opportunity?
Our community lives in the newly formed ‘Wellsprings’ Benefice within Devizes Deanery, consisting of five churches – Seend, Poulshot, Bulkington, Worton and Potterne – that typify rural England. While proud of our heritage, we also look forward to a future together.
Seeking to grow our spiritual community in this beautiful place, our team will work with you and offer you its fullest support as we set out on this adventure together.
We offer a family sized, modern, well-appointed house in Seend, in the centre of the community, in a beautiful rural situation, approximately 15 miles from Bath, and 25 miles from Salisbury with easy access to both.
Your ministry will be focussed in Seend, Poulshot and Bulkington, but you will also be working with all your colleagues across the Wellsprings Benefice.
We hope that you will be as excited about this new opportunity as we are, and bring your enthusiasm, gifts, vision and passion to develop our mission and worship with people of all ages, through a variety of traditional and contemporary services.
We are praying that the Lord helps us and you to find each other.
