Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to ensure the smooth running of our finance department and effective delivery of our ambitious Diocesan vision.

 

You will lead the finance team and manage the day-to-day accounting function. You will ensure that we have effective procedures in place, that we fulfil our statutory responsibilities and that we deliver against our financial commitments.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing our financial policy and strategy
  • Supporting Ministry Areas in developing effective stewardship plans and financial management, whilst fulfilling their charitable objectives.
  • Building excellent relationships to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • be responsible for developing, integrating and implementing LDBF financial policy and strategy
  • ensure the LDBF, Ministry Areas’ and related organisations’ good stewardship and financial management whilst fulfilling their respective strategic, mission and charitable objectives.
  • manage the Finance Team modelling exceptional customer service, professional and personal development, and high team performance and accountability, within a positive culture.
