Ref: JN014611

We are a semi-rural benefice in the beautiful West Essex countryside, with expansive farmland, historic villages, and churches working together to share the love of God with all. We are committed to balancing village life and traditions with the need for modern, relevant, and sustainable ministry and buildings. We look forward to welcoming a new Vicar to lead us in faith, fellowship, and mission.

  • Is comfortable with making decisions to ensure sustainable ministry

What We Offer:

  • A committed team of lay leaders, including an Associate Minister, Authorised Local Preacher, and churchwardens willing to share in the ministry, supported by a part time benefice administrator.

  • A unique opportunity to shape and develop effective rural ministry.

  • Established benefice-wide activities including Messy Church, home groups, Lent lunches, and community events.

  • Good links with Rodings Primary School and the village pre-school.
