This is a wonderful invitation to explore ministry in a rural context, leading the whole community with compassion and sensitivity, wisdom, and love, into a new hope-filled chapter of abundant life.

These five beautiful downland villages in East Sussex are currently progressing through the process of becoming a new united benefice. There is excitement and commitment to all that lies ahead.

The appointed person will

Have a cheerful faith
Enjoy village life and be a loving presence throughout the benefice
Develop a people-centred vision
Be energetic and enthusiastic
Have solid experience of managing change in a sensitive but focussed way
Develop the gifts of the laity and share ministry appropriately
Be able to communicate authentically the realities of faith
Be an encourager
Enjoy traditional worship and sensitively innovate contemporary worship
Be keen to be involved in Iford and Kingston School
