To help us realise our Living God’s Love vision for growth, we seek to appoint key staff to implement our Fresh Expressions Project to enable us to make new disciples of Christ.

At this exciting time, we wish to appoint skilled, imaginative and strategic leaders (lay or ordained), to help us to reach out to new people in new ways and to create a vibrant blended-economy of traditional modes and fresh expressions of church across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.They will form part of the Fresh Expressions Project Team and will partner with the Director of Mission, the Mission Department, diocesan officers and leaders across the diocese.

  • Are you passionate about helping the church reach and nurture the faith of people currently unconnected to church?

We are seeking 3 full time Fresh Expressions Development Officers to implement, through support, coaching, training and strategic input, the development of 300 maturing fresh expressions of church and the equipping of 1200 lay leaders, in order to make 8000 new disciples of Christ. Each of the 3 Fresh Expressions Development Officers will serve in one of the three archdeaconries (Bedford, Hertford and St Albans).
