Permanent Full Time

Salary Range: £65,000-£70,000 depending on experience

 

The Diocese of Derby is seeking to appoint a visionary, compassionate
& courageous leader who is eager to extend their current senior
leadership experience, to overseeing our vibrant network of 111 Church of England schools and parishes. Working directly with our new Bishops as a key part of our senior leadership team, you will be committed to ensuring the flourishing of children and adults, through high levels of academic achievement, character education, spiritual formation and community impact.

You will be well-resourced to build your own outstanding team of educational leaders locally, whilst contributing significantly to national strategic work including the Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership, Growing Faith, and pioneering the Rural Teaching Partnership across the county.

The postholder will also play a key role in shaping and implementing our vision for change and growth across the Diocese, working closely with church leaders, parishes, children/youth/family workers. Education is completely central to this vision, and we are therefore looking for someone who will make a transformative impact and sustain this vision for ‘life in all its fullness’ over the coming 5-10 years.
