Job Description

This is an exciting time in the life of the Diocese of Guildford, shaped by our mission strategy of Transforming Church, Transforming Lives. Our supporting goals include establishing 100 new worshipping communities over the next 10 years, significantly growing the number of ordained clergy and lay leaders, and sharing expertise to
release fresh energy for mission, all based on our foundational goal: to develop ‘prayerful, confident disciples in daily life’.

 

We are seeking three new senior colleagues who share our passion to see lives and communities transformed through the love of Christ, and welcome applications for the following posts. With responsibility for guiding those engaged in discernment towards ordination, overseeing ordinand and curate training and providing leadership on vocations, we are seeking someone whose ministry is characterised by:

  • Ears attuned to discerning the wonders and whispers of God calling
  • A contagious spirit that fosters lively faith and expectant service
  • A receptive heart that delights in reflecting on stories and experience.
