This is an exciting time in the life of the Diocese of Guildford, shaped by our mission strategy of Transforming Church, Transforming Lives. Our supporting goals include establishing 100 new worshipping communities over the next 10 years, significantly growing the number of ordained clergy and lay leaders, and sharing expertise to
release fresh energy for mission, all based on our foundational goal: to develop ‘prayerful, confident disciples in daily life’.
We are seeking three new senior colleagues who share our passion to see lives and communities transformed through the love of Christ, and welcome applications for the following posts. Diocesan Director of Mission
With responsibility for enabling the Church’s mission, as well as oversight of vocations, training (for clergy, lay and staff) and community engagement across the Diocese, we are seeking a candidate for this new role who is:
- An inspiring and gifted leader
- An enabler of teams and individuals
- Experienced in parish mission and evangelism in a variety of contexts
