We are a living, growing network of more than a thousand churches, chaplaincies and schools with a vision to be a more Christ-like Church for the sake of God’s world:
more contemplative, more compassionate and more courageous
We believe that ‘ministry’ is the vocation of the whole church. Clergy and lay ministers are called to equip God’s people to serve him through the local church, their places of work and in daily life.
To serve this vision, we are seeking to recruit two outstanding people who will provide inspirational leadership and support in this area.
Deputy Director of Mission (Formation for Ministry)
You’ll lead an ambitious programme for ordained and lay ministers, building a culture of life-long learning and an approach for formation and training that is agile, integrated and increasingly online.
Head of IME 2 Programme
Developing previous experience in the ministerial formation of those newly ordained, you’ll provide leadership of the training, assessment and support of curates in the Diocese, including theological education and training.
If you’re excited about helping to form ministers for the church of the future and have a heart for helping them flourish in an ever-changing mission context, then we’d love to hear from you.
