Job Description

The Bishop seeks to appoint an experienced and pastorally-minded priest to serve as Chaplain to the Cathedral congregation and as Dean. Applicants should have proven leadership and organizational skills, creative energy and enthusiasm and should be at home in the eucharistic tradition of the cathedral’s weekly and daily worship


This is a senior appointment, which will also include civic, ecumenical and diocesan responsibilities as well as strategic leadership to bring together the congregations of the Cathedral and the King’s Chapel at an exciting but uncertain time.


This post offers a unique challenge and an opportunity to play a part in the on-going life and development of Gibraltar.


The package includes a full stipend, pension contributions and working expenses and accommodation in a modern apartment near to the Cathedral.
