Job Description

COLLEGE CHAPLAIN

Oriel College is seeking to appoint a College Chaplain for a five year period from 8 January 2018. The post holder will become a College Fellow and a member of the College’s Governing Body.

The person appointed will be responsible for the conduct and oversight of services in the College Chapel as well as playing an important role in the welfare of all College members regardless of belief. The successful candidate must be sensitive to the diversity of religious belief within the College and be able to forge strong relationships with and provide support to all College members. A stipend based on the Oxford diocese incumbent’s scales will be offered.
