Are you ready to answer the call to rural ministry from Viking villages to the Howardian Hills?
The Diocese of York includes the East and much of North Yorkshire - an area which is home to 1.4 million people. Our diocese extends from the Tees to the Humber, including the cities of York and Hull, as well as Middlesbrough, Selby, the incomparable Yorkshire coast and two National Parks.
Come and join us in the fantastic communities of rural North and East Yorkshire, surrounding the historic city of York, with our glorious Minster, famous walls and winding medieval streets. From baptisms in local rivers to Thankful Villages, we welcome you!
Our current clerical posts include:
Howardian Hills Group
Group Welcome to the home of ‘Brideshead Revisited’ a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 15 miles North East of York. Through the life and witness of our churches we look to celebrate our heritage whilst looking to the future as we grow in our service of God and our communities and visitors.
We hope that we are generous-hearted, loving, welcoming and gracious and we are striving to be an expanding Christian community, shaped by God’s Word and open to the Spirit.
