North Lambeth Parish
We are a vibrant and diverse inner city community, with a clear missional energy, strong leadership and huge
possibilities for growth. We are benefitting from Strategic Development Funding, and have two new opportunities to fill key parts of the jigsaw that will help us develop and deliver our vision
Children and Families Minister and School Chaplain
Do children and families warm towards you?
Do you have a passion for seeing children and families meet their God given potential?
Are you excited by the chance to work in a dynamic inner city Parish who are growing and responding to Gods call in their local community?
We are seeking a full time, parish funded, lay or ordained person to work with us on delivering our ambition of wanting to see our Church and School at the centre of a flourishing, resilient and diverse local community.
The role has been developed jointly with our local primary school
Archbishop Sumner in Kennington and will focus on strengthening our existing relationship and developing our children and families work at
St Anslem’s Church – where we average 70 children each Sunday morning.
You will be confident in engaging with a broad range of children (5-11) and their families and creative in responding to their different needs. You will enjoy providing pastoral care and providing teaching and worship in a variety of formats. You will be a team player and will love the challenge of responding to Gods call as it arises.
The joint post reports to the Parish Incumbent and is funded initially for 5 years.
